A few little
questions.

Cursors, presentations, Keep Awake, and your Mac.

What is Pungo?

Pungo brings custom cursors, presentation tools, and Keep Awake to your Mac. Make the pointer yours, explain something on screen, or give your work more time to finish. Your cursor packs and favorites stay on your Mac.

How does Keep Awake work?

Choose a duration, an end time, an open app, or a running Presentation session. You can also keep your Mac awake until you stop it. End the Keep Awake session at a chosen battery level or when unplugged. Pungo does not control charging or charge limits. Manual sleep and closing the lid remain under macOS control. Sessions do not resume automatically.

Can Pungo stay awake until my AI task finishes?

Yes. Connect supported hooks for Codex, Cursor, or Claude Code, then start an Until AI finishes session before submitting your prompt. Keep Awake ends when the connected active sessions finish, or when its safety limit is reached. Codex hooks need review in Codex; tool policies can disable hooks. Pungo does not store your prompts or code.

What can I do with Presentation?

Highlight your cursor, show clicks, draw freehand, add arrows, shapes, and numbered steps, or zoom into a detail. The floating toolbar sits over your Mac apps and can be moved wherever you need it.

Is Presentation included in the price?

Cursor customization, Presentation, and Keep Awake are included in the €7.99 one-time license for up to 2 Macs. See Pricing for the final checkout total.

Can I try Presentation on this website?

Yes. The playground lets you try pointing, drawing, and zooming inside the example page. In the Mac app, the presentation overlay works over your screen.

Why does the magnifier need screen permission?

The magnifier needs macOS Screen Recording permission to show an enlarged part of your screen. Pungo uses it for the live magnified view, without saving a video or recording audio. Capture stops when you end the presentation or open its settings.

What does Pungo change?

Pungo applies the static cursor states included in your chosen pack, such as pointing, open hand, and grab. Other cursor states stay as they were.

Does Pungo need to stay open?

Close the window and Pungo stays in your menu bar, with active Keep Awake sessions still running. Quit Pungo to end Keep Awake and Presentation. Your custom cursor can stay active after quitting through the separate, optional cursor helper.

Can I go back to my previous cursor?

Yes. “Stop using cursor” restores the cursor state saved before Pungo applied your pack. The pack stays in your collection until you choose to delete it.

Which Macs does it work with?

System-wide cursor customization requires an Apple Silicon Mac with macOS 26 or 27. Earlier macOS versions and Intel Macs are not supported for cursor replacement. Check your Mac in Apple menu → About This Mac before purchasing.

Are the cursors animated on my Mac?

Pungo currently applies static system cursors. The animations here demonstrate gestures and bring Buddy to life on the website. Animated system cursor packs are not supported yet.

Is Pungo a subscription?

No. The Pungo license costs €7.99, paid once, with no recurring subscription. It activates up to 2 Macs and has no scheduled expiry. Online license checks are still required.

Can I use Pungo offline?

Activate online first. A successfully validated license works offline for up to 7 days; reconnect to validate it again. If validation expires, cursor customization and Presentation stop until access is restored. Restoring your previous cursor remains available.

Can I move my license to another Mac?

Yes. Deactivate the old Mac in Pungo Settings or through Polar’s customer portal, then activate your key on the new Mac. Each license allows 2 active Macs.

Does keyboard control show everything I type?

No. Keyboard control focuses the toolbar so single-key shortcuts can select tools. Press Escape to release it. Pungo does not display or record everything you type in other apps.

Can I download Pungo from the Mac App Store?

Pungo is available as a direct download from this website. A Mac App Store release has not been announced.

Are extra cursor packs included?

Pungo includes 35 original cursor packs. You can also import compatible packs you already have. Discover offers 13 additional character packs at €0.99 each, purchased separately through Polar. Each pack includes 39 static cursor states.
